From 17th to 19th June 2013 the Organic Marketing Forum (OMF) will open its doors in Warsaw in the 8th year: The biggest meeting for the organic market sector of Central- and Eastern Europe again will attract organic companies, experts and other key players of the organic market from about 30 European countries. Producers, processors, traders, retailers and experts will join together to the extended organic trade exhibition and new networking sessions in the polish capital and discuss new strategies and organic trends.

The Organic Marketing Forum, already well known in the European Organic Market-Calendar, will 2013 come up with numerous changes and news: apart from the extended trade exhibition for organic food and non-food products there will be Networking Tables for different product categories, exhibitors and visitors can introduce themselves on a stage and experts are available for individual consultations. Speed-Networking sessions are another new feature at the Forum which enables more contacts between visitors. Also all day excursions to organic companies in the area of Warsaw are a novelty. Not least the organic conference will be an important part of the event. With the motto “It is all about meeting the right people” one focus of the conference in 2013 is on Networking and cooperation.

More cooperation within the countries and between countries is also the goal of the whole Organic Marketing Forum: “A growing part of the European organic market activities is happening in the East. The Organic Marketing Forum will 2013 again bring together the organic people from East and West and will be a starting point for new partnerships and developments” says Bernhard Jansen, the chairman of EkoConnect – International Centre for Organic Agriculture of Central and Eastern Europe, the main organiser of the Forum. “The organic markets in Central and Eastern Europe are showing a dynamic growth and this will 2013 lead again to more participants and business contacts in Warsaw. I am especially happy about the successful cooperation with BioFach Nuremberg, which helps us to invite more organic companies” Bernhard Jansen concludes.

Besides “BioFach”, the producers association “Polska Ekologia“, the organic farming association „Ekoland“, the Polish Advisory Centre CDR and the Organic Retailers Association (ORA) are partners of OMF 2013. The forum stays under the patronage of the IFOAM EU Group and the Polish Ministry for Agriculture and Rural Development.

With the four official conference languages (English, German, Polish and Russian) and the support of free translators for everybody, language barriers between East and West are removed as much as in no other organic event in Europe.
