News of Organic Industry
Until BioFach takes place in February 2012, the oneco team presents the people who make BioFach reality. Todays interview of this series we put 5 questions to Barbara Böck.
What is your connection with BioFach / Vivaness?
As press consultant and “organic believer” I have been responsible for BioFach and Vivaness in Nuremberg and the 5 “daughters” in Japan, the USA, Brazil, China and India for the last 5 years. The “online daughter” oneco was added in 2011. Together with all the other “communicators” in the BioFach family, we on the PR side keep the media representatives and the public up to date on the sector and the world-leading exhibition in a comprehensive and authentic way using all channels. What is / was your nicest experience with BioFach / Vivaness?
Which 3 words do you spontaneously associate with BioFach / Vivaness?
Variety – Great enjoyment – Great emotionWhat do you do when you’re not working for BioFach / Vivaness?
Take things more quietly than is sometimes possible in my job. For example, reading or yoga. But the highlights of the year also include my private trips – not only the business ones. I always enjoy travelling to Italy, which I feel is my second home. What should BioFach visitors definitely not miss in Nuremberg?
“Nuremberg newcomers” should certainly include a walk to the castle and they really must try “3 im Weckla”, three of the typical Nuremberg sausages in a bread roll – these are, of course, available in organic quality!
Nuremberg for “advanced visitors” and all those who already know the classic features would perhaps be a walk in the St. Johannis district with the Johannis cemetery and the Hesperides Gardens. After this they should stop off in the Südstadt – this also makes Nuremberg’s variety experiencable – and treat themselves to a delicious crêpe and a glass of organic cider at the Yechet Mad crêperie (Anna Meyer was the first on the Nuremberg gastro scene to change completely to organic products)!
