The Million Tree Project
BIOFACH CHINA and HONA ORGANIC travelled to the Baijitan Nature Reserve in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, where is one of the four major sand areas in Northwest China. This project has so far completed the planting of 2 million trees during 10 years execution, aiming to reduce the impact of desertification on the economic development of the Yellow River corridor and improve the ecological environment around LingWu city.
