    In 2006, NürnbergMesse co-hosted the “International Seminar on the Chinese Organic Food Market and Industry Development” with the China Green Food Development Center. In the same year, NürnbergMesse China Co., Ltd. was established.

    In 2007, the first edition of BIOFACH CHINA was held. The exhibition explored the Chinese organic industry from an international perspective, positioning the Chinese organic market as a bridge to Asia, connecting the global organic network and opening a new chapter for the organic industry in China and Asia.

  • 2013

    In 2013, the exhibition held its first Chinese Organic Product Business Matching Conference to promote the connection between organic product production and sales. In subsequent years, the organizers held business matching activities on different themes such as “e-commerce”, “parent-child” and “catering” based on the hot topics of the year.

    In 2023, the exhibition was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) for the first time, with the theme “Courage to Change.” The organizer upgraded the exhibition awards to “BIOFACH CHINA Organic PowerAwards”. Through a transparent and open selection process, more organic products were brought to the spotlight.

  • 2025

    In 2025, the exhibition launched the “Organic Link” business matching activity to enrich activities both during and outside the exhibition period. The first business matching activity outside the exhibition period was held in Xiamen in March 2025. At BIOFACH CHINA 2025, the organizer also presented the “Organic Power: Open Course on Organic Dynamics,” aiming to help organic products stand out in the consumer market through product design and operation.

    In 2026, the 19th edition of BIOFACH CHINA was held concurrently and at the same venue with other food industry exhibitions for the first time, showcasing the “Organic Power” to global food and beverage buyers.
